I Pill

The I-Pill is a brand name for a type of emergency contraceptive pill that is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure.

Each tablet of I-Pill contains 1.5 mg of levonorgestrel, which is a synthetic hormone similar to progesterone. It works by preventing ovulation, fertilization of the egg, or implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus.

The recommended dose of I-Pill is one tablet to be taken orally as soon as possible, preferably within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. It is most effective when taken within the first 24 hours after intercourse.

I-Pill is not meant to be used as a regular form of contraception, and it does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Possible side effects of I-Pill may include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, breast tenderness, irregular bleeding, or abdominal pain. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, you should seek medical attention.
